Italiano: STATUA DEBLE' - Figura antropomorfa femminile con seni conici, testa ovale, acconciatura a cresta e volto cuoriforme concavo. Gli occhi sono chiusi, naso lungo e sottile, le orecchie semicircolari e sporgenti. Le braccia scendono discoste e parallele al busto con mani sulle anche. Gambe breviformi con piedi non rappresentati che poggiano su robusta base clindrica.

Le statue deblé sono in realtà dei pestelli rituali utilizzati in coppia (uno maschile e l'altro femminile) dalla società iniziatica maschile Poro. Quello che sembra essere il piedistallo della scultura è in realtà l'emento funzionale dell'attrezzo.

Custoditi nella foresta sacra fanno in particolare la loro comparsa in occasione del funerale di un anziano membro della società. Sono allora usati per battere il tempo della musica che accompagna il rito e poi per pestare ritmicamente sette volte la terra della tomba in modo da facilitare l'uscita dello spirito del defunto dal corpo e consentirgli di raggiungere il mondo degli antenati. Il loro battito si dice purifichi la terra.
