Italiano: MASCHERA AGBOGHO MMWO - Maschera facciale antropomorfa con volto di colore bianco (caolino), labbra colorate in rosso e acconciatura tricromatica (nero, bianco e rosso) a cresta tripartita. Orecchie circolari forate tinte in rosso. Una linea nera attraversa il volto dalla fronte al mento. Sulla fronte segni di identificazione sociale. Su tutto il perimetro fori per l'attaccatura del costume. Queste maschere di colore bianco (caolino) dai tratti sottili e dall'acconciatura elaborata sono incarnazioni degli spiriti di fanciulla e ne celebrano la bellezza, la gioventù, la benevolenza. Si contrappongono dal punto di vista sia estetico sia simbolico alle maschere nere che invece rimandano agli anziani, al potere maschile, alla notte e alla morte. L'acconciatura è quella delle donne igbo, una vera e propria costruzione scultorea realizzata con capelli fissati su un'intelaiatura in cui vengono inseriti pettini, forcine, amuleti. Acconciature elaborate vengono anche realizzate impastando i capelli con argilla e olio di palma per modellarne i volumi. Queste acconciature, che non consentono di portare pesi sulla testa (come invece avviene normalmente per le donne che lavorano), vengono portate solo in particolari occasioni
