Summary

English: An simple 10,000 point, negative binomial (mu=5, s=2) distributed RA plot. The patchwork like appearance of the diamond shaped point islands is purposefully added randomness (jitter=3.5) which allows for a better idea of the distribution and size of the over-plotted data. The large swaths of points on the far left (left of the dashed grey lines) are the a=0 or b=0, condition-unique points which have been artificially introduced into this logarithmic plot via addition of an epsilon factor. |
