Description Philippine marines disembark a landing craft utility vehicle in the well deck of amphibious transport dock ship USS Juneau (LPD 10) while under way in the Pacific Ocean Feb. 17, 2008. Juneau, which is part of the Essex Expeditionary Strike Group, is participating in exercise Balikatan 2008. The annual bilateral exercise improves interoperability between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the U.S. military during humanitarian, medical and engineering missions.
