Stema comunei Aluniș, potrivit anexei nr. 1.1, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile tăiate rotunjit.

În partea superioară, în câmp albastru, se află o formă muntoasă verde, cu trei vârfuri, având la bază o bandă undată de argint.

În vârful scutului, în câmp argintiu, se află o crenguță verde de alun cu trei frunze și trei alune de aur.

Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Semnificațiile elementelor însumate:

Forma muntoasă reprezintă Munții Gurghiului și vârful Zăspad.

Banda undată de argint semnifică râul Mureș.

Crenguța de alun este specifică pentru vegetația zonei, determinând denumirea localității - Aluniș.

Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.

Therefore this image is assumed to be in the public domain worldwide, although some of the above categories may be subject to usage restrictions within Romania.
