Description
English: AT SEA (May 1, 2009) A U.S. CH-53E “Super Stallion” assigned to Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron 14 Detachment One lands on the deck of the Republic of Korea amphibious assault ship Dokdo (LPH 6111) behind a ROK UH-60. U.S. and ROK helicopters practiced landing on Dokdo today as part of interoperability training. HM-14 Det. 1 is currently deployed to Pohang, Republic of Korea and serves under the Commander, Amphibious Force 7th Fleet, Rear Adm. Richard Landolt. (U.S. Navy photo by Lt. Nicklaus Smith/Released)
