Description

This is an RJ Corman Railroad Company engine that is switching freight in Dover, Ohio on 9 May 2016.

RJ Corman Railroad # 1804 was originally built in June 1950 as a General Motors Electro-Motive Division GP7. It ran on the Seaboard Air Line Railroad as unit # 1727. In became Seaboard Coast Line Railroad # 907 in July 1967. It was rebuilt as a GP16 in June 1981 to become Seaboard Coast Line Railroad # 4758. After a merger of many eastern American railroads, the unit became part of Seaboard System Railroad, still numbered 4758. After the Chessie System-Seaboard System merger, this engine became CSX # 1804 (Chessie-Seaboard Expanded). The unit was retired in June 1993 and is now used by RJ Corman Railroad in Ohio.
