DescriptionRIP FATS Lower 9th Ward.jpg |
English: Fats Domino home, Lower 9th Ward, after the area was dewatered from the levee failure disaster flood during Hurricane Katrina. Graffiti on building reads "R.I.P. FATS you will be missed", presumably written during the time he was rumored to be dead in the post-disaster confusion. On door and window shutters are markings from search & rescue teams, including a large one reading "CALIFORNIA TASK FORCE". |
