| Description |
Ram Mandir at Chinawal village, India. According to pujari Vasudev Das (Prapanna, from Pratapgarh in UP) 60 bigha land around this Mandir was donated by the Nizam to Ramanand Sampraday. British officially handed over land to Ramanand Sampraday in 1863 through 'sanad'. Old Ram Mandir was already existing on the place of this new Ram Mandir since time immemorial. Shyamdas maharaj did 'jirnoddhar' and built this new Mandir on the place of old Ram Mandir in around 1883. Pujaris of this Mandir since 1883, Mathuradas, Ramdas, Tulsidas, Bhagwandas, Ramdas and last in line Gopidas (1957). |
