| Description |
English: RAF Barkston Heath during aeromodelling national finals The British Model Flying Association uses RAF Barkston Heath every August Bank Holiday weekend for a massive festival of aeromodelling - this is just one small corner with parking for the huge number of supplier stands. In the distance there is a whole runway and more of tents and caravans. Control line events include many varieties of combat, team race, speed, stunt, carrier landing and scale. Radio control events include aerobatics, pylon racing, scale, fun-fly, helicopters, and the fly-for-fun demo line.
