Nederlands: Radiotoespraak door minister-president Schermerhorn, waarin hy het nieuwe "nationale" kabinet presenteert en het te voeren beleid "van herstel en vernieuwing" uiteenzet. Schermerhorn dankt zyn voorganger Gerbrandy en H.M. Koningin Wilhelmina. Eerste taak kabinet: de "algemene oorlogvoering" tegen Japan en de bevryding van Indonesie. Vervolgens gaat Schermerhorn in op de verhouding tot "het verslagen" Duitsland, de reorganisatie van de krygsmacht, de opheffing van het Militair Gezag, het herstel van de democratie, de zuivering van het ambtelyk apparaat en de leniging van de eerste materiele behoeften. Schermerhorn schetst de nieuwe taken per departement en kondigt de instelling van een Regeringsvoorlichtingdienst aan. "Het gaat vandaag om het 'nu of nooit', misschien om het 'erop of eronder'". Schermerhorn verklaart, dat de regering "met kracht" een herziening zal voorbereiden van de samenstelling van de koninkryksdelen. Inclusief aankondiging door omroeper. English: The collection of Broadcasts from Radio Herrijzend Nederland (Radio 'The Netherlands Revived') contains a selection of the radio broadcasts that were transmitted between 1944 and 1946. They were broadcasted by the military authorities from Eindhoven after its liberation in September 1944, to encourage and inform the people of the still occupied north of the Netherlands. After the liberation it continued to broadcast untill January 1946. This digitized audio file is a so called semi-finished product. During digitization an attempt was made to get as much detail from the original source as possible. This can sometimes mean that there is still a need for post-production to get the best possible end-product for human consumption.
