Add a one-line explanation of what this file represents
Description The Snake Creek Armament Depot in the hills just to the North of Adelaide River was originally developed for the RAN during WWII. By 1959 the bomb dump was operated by the RAAF and carried a large store of bombs and other ordinance and also stored a large quantity of gelignite for the RAAF Darwin River Quarry. The entrance to the unit was not guarded and gave access to both the domestic and operational sites.
