Description	A U.S. Navy North American RA-5C Vigilante of Reconnaissance Heavy Attack Squadron RVAH-5 "Savage Sons" is ready for launch from the aircraft carrier USS America (CVA-66). RVAH-5 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 6 (CVW-6) aboard the America between November 1965 and September 1967. Note the clearly visible SPS-39 radar originally fitted.
