[edit]DescriptionR22-Trailered.jpg |
Robinson R22 Helicopter On Trailer at Kitty Hawk The trailer is 30-feet long and 8-feet wide and weighs approximately 3500 lbs with R22, fuel, kayaks, and bikes. There is a 60-gallon fuel tank above the axle (enough for two fill ups of the R22). The trailer holds two kayaks and two bicycles. The white boxes are Helipods that attach to the outside of the R22 for additional storage in flight. The helicopter is flown off of and landed on the trailer. It takes approximately 30 minutes to prepare for flight and 45 minutes to completely secure everything for transportation. |
