Deutsch: Wai-O-Tapu ist ein Gebiet mit geothermischer Aktivität in Neuseeland. würde ich am ehesten auf schnöde Trockenrisse tippen. Kommentar: Geoz Ja, denke ich auch. Durch das schwefelhaltige Thermalwasser hat man auf den augetrockneten Tonen noch Mineralneubildungen, die man natürlich so nicht bestimmen kann. Kommentar: Geolina Bei der "Feinschichtung" würde ich es nicht einmal wagen, mich festzulegen, ob das Schichtung, oder nicht doch Schieferung ist. Auch die Fältelung könnte sowohl sedimentären, als auch tektonischen Ursprungs sein... Kommentar: Geoz Am Franz Josephs-Gletscher beschreibt die Geologische Karte mit "segregated high-grade schist; cm-scale quartz-albite segregations"...das könnte gut passen, also hochgradig metamorphe Tonschiefer (C1/C2), metamorphe Tonschiefer mit einen hellen Neosom, vermutl. aus Quarz und Albit (C3/C4). Ich würde dort manche Strukturen als migmatitisch beschreiben. Meinungen dazu? Kommentar: Geolina |
