Description
Deutsch: Hot Water Beach ist ein Strandabschnitt an der Pazifikküste etwa 12 km von der Kleinstadt Whitianga entfernt. Er befindet sich im Thames-Coromandel-Distrikt auf der Coromandel Peninsula der Nordinsel Neuseelands.
Vielleicht Liesegangsche Ringe? Kommentar: Geoz - Schwierig, schwierig...die geologische Karte spricht in diesem Strandabschnitt von bimssteinartigen Sanden, Schluffsteinen, Tonen (Für die hellen Partien), die braunen "Schlieren" sind sicher durch das Grundwasser gebildet, Liesegangsche Ringe kommen für mich schon in Frage. Ähnliche Bildungen kann man in den Kreideküsten Rügens beobachten (entspricht ja von der Porosität durchaus vulkanischen Aschen). Kommentar: Geolina
