Rückseite: ROMA [inkus]. Die beiden Dioskuren reiten nach r. Über den Köpfen je ein Stern.

Kommentar: Die Götter selbst sind an Kampf, Sieg und Triumph beteiligt. Die Dioskuren, das Brüderpaar Castor und Pollux, erscheinen auf den frühen Denaren als göttliche Helfer. Bei der Schlacht am See Regillus 496 v. Chr. verhalfen sie zum Sieg, so glaubten die Römer. Die Dioskuren standen auch später im Kampf hilfreich zur Seite.
