Kommentar: Der Kopf auf der Vs. wird von Woytek, der darin Hollstein folgt, als Apollo und nicht wie bei Crawford als Libertas gedeutet. Apollo hatte unter den Göttern die größte Bedeutung für die Freiheitspropaganda der Caesarmörder, einmal als Gott des Sieges, zum andern hatte sein Orakel in Delphi zur Abschaffung der Königsherrschaft in Rom geführt (Livius 1, 56, 4-13). Die Schiffszier auf der Rs., deren Rosen auf Rhodos hinweisen, erinnert an den Sieg des Cassius über die Rhodier 42 v. Chr.
