Description
English: Quran verse written (with Thuluth script) on a wall panel from the Great Mosque of al-Nuri in Mosul, Iraq. 6th century AH (12th century CE). Surah Al-Baqarah, part of verse 144; "toward al-Masjid al-Haram". On display at the Iraq Museum in Baghdad.
العربية: آية قرآنية مكتوبة بخط الثلث على لوحة جدارية من جامع النوري الكبير في الموصل, العراق. القرن السادس الهجري (القرن الثاني عشر الميلادي). سورة البقرة, جزء من الآية 144, "شطر المسجد الحرام". معروض في المتحف العراقي ببغداد.
