Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Quincunx Plan of the Forest of Stupas in Jiaohe ruins, Xinjiang.

Quincunx means arranged in an X-shape like the "five" side of dice; one in the center and one at each corner.

The stupas in this plan are cleverly arranged in a double quincunx. Overall five groups form an X, and the five stupas in the center group also form an X.
