Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Outside the Maritime Museum, formerly the offices of the Hull Dock Company, one of the 'iconic' K6 cast-iron telephone kiosks designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott in 1935. The boxes are without the royal crown and are normally cream-painted, being unique to the former Hull Corporation Telephone Department. Further information: Link
To promote 'Pride in Hull', Yorkshire's biggest LGBT celebration to be held in Queen's Gardens on 21 July 2018, KCOM has given this kiosk a rainbow makeover. Text on the windows invites photographers to 'Share your photos' @KCOMhome and #KCOMpride.
