Description
English: The Norwegian liner SKAUBRYN was the only vessel lost at sea during the era of post-war migration to Australia, when it caught fire and sank in the Indian Ocean in 1958. For the 60th anniversary of the incident, a small photographic exhibition is on display in our galleries.

The Australian National Maritime Museum undertakes research and accepts public comments that enhance the information we hold about images in our collection.
