English: Queen's Quay station - interior - 1976 (6) Following terrorist bomb attacks in the early 1970s, Queen's Quay station was little more than an empty shell when closed on 10 April 1976. Taken on the night of closure, this view shows the abandoned gift stall and the entrance to Platform 5. Location is approximate as the station was demolished following closure, with the site now under the cross-harbour rail and road link. |
