| Description |
First flight on January 3, 1967 as G-AVEJ, ordered from Panair do Brasil but was not delivered because the airline ceased operations. Leased to Bavaria Fluggesellschaft as D-AFWB. Delivered to Philippines Airlines as PI-C1141. Delivered to Quebecair and registered CF-QBR then C-FQBR. Sold to Okada Airlines as 5N-AOW. On June 1991 on flight from Benin Airport to Kano Airport had to diverte to Sokoto because Kano airport closed due to bad weather. In the meanwhile Sokoto airport closed too. The plane circled for one hour then was forced to make an emergency landing due to fuel shortage. Landed 10 km from Sokoto airport causing three fatalities between passengers, the plane was written off. |
