This 100% pure quartz sand sample has grain shapes ranging from subangular to rounded.

Locality: swash zone, sandy shoreline at Carrickalinga Head, north of Normanville, northwestern margin of the Fleurieu Peninsula, southeastern shores of Gulf St. Vincent, South Australia
