Size: 10.5 x 8.8 x 3.4 cm.
Scintillating, multi-hued amethyst crystals coat the terminated portion of a cabinet calcite cleavage on this striking specimen from a new find. The stair-steps and color banding (with smoky quartz highlights) on the amethyst-coated section of the piece are very dramatic. Excellent and unusual material from Irai, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
