Summary
[edit]DescriptionQuakers Yard (Low Level) railway station, Mid Glamorgan - geograph.org.uk - 3304914.jpg |
English: Quakers Yard (Low Level) railway station, Mid Glamorgan. Opened in 1858 by the Taff Vale Railway on its line from Cardiff to Merthyr Tydfil. View south east towards Aberdare and Cardiff. The remains of the second platform can be seen to the right. Until 1964 there was a High Level station nearby on the Pontypool Road to Neath line. When that closed, the reference to Low Level was dropped. |
