ls open, at intervals which, inthe unravelled tube, are found to be about three inches in length, intoa single canal or duct, the intervening and subsequent convolutions ofwhich constitute the epididymis itself. The canal of the epididymis (fig. 598, g) is disposed in verynumerous coils, and extends fiom the globus major downwards to theglobus minor or tail, where, turning upwards, it is continued on as thevas deferens. When its complicated flexuosities are unrolled, it isfound to be twenty feet and upwards in length.
