English: A screenshot of an internet scam advertised on Google's YouTube platform, notice that it uses a number of psychological tricks to bait people in, for example its URL includes the word "legit" (short for "legitimate") to convince people that it's a real educational course, it includes bolded amounts of money which are likely more indicative of what individuals are going to spend than to earn, a countdown clock which makes it seem like there are only a few minutes after opening the webpage until the window to take the supposed "limited offer" is over, notice also the clock showing the current time (as of capturing the screenshot) to attempt to make people think that the timer above it is their last chance.
The language of "converting strangers into paying costumers" is indicative that this website sells participation in a pyramid scheme. |
