English: U.S. Army Paratroopers, assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division, participated in the inaugural memorial ceremony honoring Private Andrew Babjak at Michalovce District Pavlovce, Slovakia Jun. 14, 2024. Babjak was the only known Slovakian born member of the 82nd Airborne Division and 101st Airborne Division who was killed during the Allied landings at Normandy. (U.S. Army photo Staff Sgt.
