Putting up Halloween decorations at a shop in Ventnor, 2019

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Halloween had been a low-key event in England until the 1980s when it was remodelled to fit a cultural template for festivals made up of iconic figures, costume parties, and purchasable goods. Here a shop window is being decorated in suitably ghoulish style.
