| Description |
English: Putting the boot in- Munro no 78. Summit trig of Mullach Coire an Iubhair or Geal Charn, no. 78 on the accursed list in 1983 when I took this photo. It was my 111th hill over 3000'. The trig is a simple cylinder made by pouring concrete into a cardboard tube. Sometimes the rolled cardboard pattern can be seen in the concrete. A prolonged windy and cloudy period led to rime building up. I hope this conveys a little of the bad weather experience that is the Scottish Winter. |
