Notes coin purse with RAF badge that belonged to (or given to a family member by) 1384342 Sgt Air Gunner Brian Arthur Rogers, 75 (NZ) Squadron, RAF, WW2 Londoner, Sgt Brian A Rogers, was killed in action on 27 April 1943 while serving with 75 (NZ) Squadron. He was serving as rear gunner on a Stirling aircraft which was attacked by a German night fighter while on a mission to Duisburg and crash-landed at base on 27 April 1943.
