English: This picture shows the pupil aberration of the Canon Lens FD 1:2.8/24mm. The pupil aberration serves to reduce the brightness decrease towards the corner of the photos taken with the depicted lens.
Both partial pictures are taken with the same distance between camera and depicted lens (about 30cm) and with the same aperture setting of the depicted lens. The surface of the entrance pupil is bigger for light coming from the side, compared with light parallel to the optical axis.
Deutsch: Dieses Bild zeigt die Pupillenaberration des Objektivs Canon FD 1:2.8 / 24mm. Die Pupillenaberration reduziert den Heligkeitsabfall zu den Ecken der Bilder hin, die mit diesem Objektiv aufgenommen werden. Beide hier gezeigten Teilbilder wurden mit der gleichen Blendeneinstellung des abgebildeten Objektivs gemacht. Man erkennt, dass durch die Pupillenaberration die Querschnittsfläche der Eintrittspupille bei seitlichem Lichteinfall größer ist als bei achsparallel einfallendem Licht. |
