The Court decided in his favour, and con-demned the lady to suppress the x, but without damages, as there was no injurydone. Now that x is eliminated from the name of the lady who called herselfSaxe, by what is M. Sax the better ? It is difficult to see how shecould have offended that gentleman by appropriating one of the lettersthat form his name, and, in comparison with the name of Saxe, that ofSasse at all events sounds rather the saucier.
