Summary

English: Pump House & Water Tower Seen from the riverside, the Benningborough Hall Water Tower has a small Pump House attached to the back, whether this was built at the same time as the WT is unclear. The stone walls hide some steps which lead into the river, i suspect that they may once have led to a wooden jetty with boats tied up and could infact be older than the adjacent tower as they are made of sandstone, not brick. |
