Description
English: Low magnification micrograph of granulomatous inflammation of the lung secondary to a foreign body reaction in the context of intravenous drug use (IVDU), also known as drug abuser lung and pulmonary talcosis, if the foreign material is demonstrated to talc. H&E stain.

Pulmonary talcosis is a common finding in chronic IVDUs, as talc is often used to dilute herion and thereby increase its weight and street value.
