Español: Aguas abajo del Puente de Palmas, se construyó en 1960 el Puente de la Inaugurado en 1994, es el cuarto puente sobre el río Guadiana a su paso por Badajoz. Se llama Real porque dos años antes fueron los Reyes de España quienes pusieron la primera piedra en el inicio de su construcción. Se trata de un puente atirantado de luces que se prolonga, sin solución de continuidad, con un viaducto de acceso formado por seis vanos de treinta y dos metros, totalizando una longitud de 452 metros incluyendo los vuelos del tablero en los estribos. Es un puente moderno, con carril para bicicletas, imponente como vista panorámica y une la zona más nueva de la ciudad con la Avenida de Elvas que conduce a Portugal, a la Universidad, Parque de Atracciones, servicios médicos y recintos feriales |
