Carmen Born, nacida en 1926 en Santander (España) y de nacionalidad alemana y española fue una de las primeras diseñadoras de moda Prêt-à-porter afincadas en Barcelona. Deutsch: Mehrere Probezeichnungen waren erforderlich, bevor die definitive Zeichnung im Magazin veröffentlicht wurde.
Carmen Born, deutsche und spanische Staatsangehörige, geboren im Jahr 1926 in Santander – Spanien, die in Barcelona lebt und dort zusammen mit anderen Künstlern aus Wien, Katalonien, etc. gearbeitet hat, zählt zu den Pionieren der Prêt-à-porter-Modeszene. |

PUBLICACIONES MUNDIAL, todo un referente de la época (desde los años 40), con sede en Barcelona, carrer Consell de Cent, y domicilio postal Apartado 925 Barcelona. Las revistas formaban diversas colecciones, cuyos títulos más conocidos eran: Milady, La mode à Paris, La robe favorite, Pour Madame, Petites toilettes, La moda ideal, Bambina Diese Modezeichnungen wurden in der berühmten Fachzeitschrift PUBLICACIONES MUNDIAL [Vorbild ab den 40er Jahren], mit Sitz in Barcelona, carrer Consell de Cent, Postanschrift: Apartado 925 Barcelona, veröffentlicht.
