Summary
[edit]DescriptionPub or Church - geograph.org.uk - 1626525.jpg |
English: Pub or Church The London Inn at St Neot a free house and once my favourite pub in the area. If you don't like a drink or three then you can go next door and pray for the likes of John Wesley to return. He was very popular in Cornwall years ago and had a cottage at Trewint on Bodmin Moor. He shut down the Inns and Taverns and in some cases it was many years before they reopened. Many pubs are shutting down this year more to do with the hard times and lack of spending money around then a modern John Wesley. Nowadays when travelling across Bodmin Moor you better watch out for the Beast of Bodmin, particularly if you have a spent an afternoon in the pub drinking spirits! Cheers. |
