Este análisis les lleva a encontrar la causa de una diferenciación de los alumnos, en su situación al momento de pasarles un test o hacerles un examen, o en el contenido de estos.

por ejemplo: se propone desarrollar una nueva dirección de las investigaciones en la que se modifica el planteamiento metodológico utilizando situaciones experimentales o tipos de observación que permiten estudiar la forma de expresión de todos los niños e intentar, a partir de ahí, elaborar unos instrumentos teóricos que integren el análisis de las diferentes situaciones por las que se estudia a los niños, el contexto social del investigador y el del niño.
