Description
Deutsch: Sogenanntes Prym-Haus, Löwenstraße 6, Lindenberg im Allgäu. Erstmals nachweisbar im Jahr 1778. Gehörte zu dieser Zeit dem gegenüberliegenden Gasthof Löwen an. Später Doppelhaus des Uhrmachers Johann Martin Mayr und des Buchbinders Georg König. Durch Heirat der Familien einheitlicher Besitz Mayr. 1874 übenahm der Lindauer Ludwig Prym, Ehemann von Magdalena Mayr, das Uhrengeschäft des Schwiegervaters. 1878 eröffnete Magdalena ein Woll- und Tuchhandel. Später ein Malerunternehmen im Haus. Zuletzt sechs Wohneinheiten. 2022 soll das Gebäude abgerissen und durch einen Neubau ersetzt werden. (Quelle: Der Westallgäuer vom 3. English: So-called Prym House, Löwenstraße 6, Lindenberg im Allgäu. First documented in 1778. Belonged at that time to the Löwen Inn across the street. Later double house of the clockmaker Johann Martin Mayr and the bookbinder Georg König. Through marriage of the families unified property Mayr. In 1874 Ludwig Prym from Lindau, husband of Magdalena Mayr, took over the clock business of his father-in-law. In 1878 Magdalena opened a wool and cloth shop. Later a painting business in the house.
