Description

One among around thirty activists and protesters who gathered outside the US embassy in Vauxhall, London, to protest the United States' continued support for the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime.

I didn't interview the demonstrator portrayed in this image as to their opinions on Palestine. However, from listening to others, it seemed that there was strong determination that there should be an end to US military and diplomatic support for Israel's apartheid regime which has seen Palestinians forcibly removed form their land, Gaza subjected to a savage economic siege inflicting malnutrition, disease and poverty on its 2 million inhabitants and an end to diplomatic support from Washington which had enabled Israel's total refusal to negotiate recognition of a viable and genuinely independent Palestinian state.
