Summary

[edit]
Description

A sign placed by protesters at Mayor Barrett's house reads "the people say no to cops". On December 12, various groups from around Milwaukee gathered to protest an upcoming city counsel vote to determine if Milwaukee will accept a federal grant that will allow the city to hire an additional 30 police officers.

The protesters marched past Milwaukee Mayor Barret's house, where they gave a speech condemning the recent actions of police in the city, which has had an almost record amount of murders this year.
