Português: Projeto de Floriano Vieira Peixoto para a Bandeira do Brasil. Segundo Coimbra (2000): "Floriano se manifestaria num telegrama aos comandantes de corpos de exército, propondo a substituição da atual bandeira republicana pela antiga imperial, encimada apenas por uma estrela no lugar da coroa", o mencionado autor ainda utiliza a seguinte fonte da citação: (Anais da Câmara, 1908, v.2, p. 161).
