Description
English: Processing the Trees in Wendover Woods. This machine (a Timberjack harvester) uses the special grab to pick up the thick end of the fir tree trunk and pull it into position. It then moves along the trunk stripping off the branches. Next it measures off a standard length and cuts off a length (see pile of cut logs in the picture). It continues to hold the end of the log and repeats the process.
