This machine, available with either diesel or gaso-line power, has a total weight of 12,400 lb, a large portion of which can be applied tothe bucket cutting edge to facilitate penetration in hard digging and below-gradeexcavation. Track-Tool Transporter A demountable track-tool transporter has been designed with a 4-ft by S-ft weather-proof plywood deck backed with corrugated steel, which is supported on a 4-piecetubular steel frame mounted on four 6-in insulated wheels. The unit is provided witha tubular steel push handle which may be attached at either end of the car. It is saidthat the entire unit may be easily set up or dismantled in less than a minute for easyloading on a truck, bus or motor car.
