English: Private Boat House and Slipway at Loe Beach Many of the (rather grand) houses fronting Carrick Roads between Loe Beach and Restronguet Point have private boathouses and slipways at the end of large gardens sloping down to the water. In my opinion, the nicest coastal location to live in England; knocks the over-hyped Sandbanks in Poole into a cocked hat! |
