English: Vangit hakkaavat kiveä Nairobin tasangolla syyskuussa 1910.


Taiteilija Akseli Gallen-Kallelan perhe eli vuosina 1909-10 Brittiläisessä Itä-Afrikassa, nykyisessä Keniassa. Viimeisen, neljä kuukautta kestäneen safarin jälkeen Gallen-Kallela seurueineen suuntasi takaisin kohti Nairobia - kuva on mahdollisesti otettu siltä matkalta.
