Description The following is the author's description of the photograph quoted directly from the photograph's Flickr page.
"I've been told this wall is the old city wall of chengdu. Indeed, if
you are looking at a map of chengdu, you can see the rivers around,
forming some kind of island... the old city must have been inside.
You can't see a lot from the old city, as often in China's modern
city. This wall has obviously been rebuild. Strange that it wasn't
destroy.
